Classic White Porcelain Rice Bowls by Pillivuyt — Set of 4

Petite white porcelain rice bowls provide a proper little place for rice or other small side dishes. They pair naturally with varied dinner plates without competing with patterned china.

“I often place a little bowl beside each dinner plate for rice or another accompaniment. It makes a meal with several small dishes more convivial.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Established in France in 1818, Pillivuyt has been producing porcelain at its Mehun-sur-Yèvre manufacture since 1854. More than two centuries of accumulated knowledge inform its precise forms, remarkably smooth glaze, and enduring approach to functional tableware.

Fired at high temperatures, Pillivuyt porcelain develops a dense, nonporous surface that combines the refinement of fine French craftsmanship with the demands of everyday use.
