Plisse Pleated Porcelain Serving Bowls by Pillivuyt

Plisse's delicate pleats follow the generous outline of these serving bowls. The white interior makes dressed greens, fruit, and colorful vegetables especially appealing.

“For a colorful salad I prefer a bowl with texture rather than printed decoration. The pleated wall provides just enough interest.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Established in France in 1818, Pillivuyt has been producing porcelain at its Mehun-sur-Yèvre manufacture since 1854. More than two centuries of accumulated knowledge inform its precise forms, remarkably smooth glaze, and enduring approach to functional tableware.

Fired at high temperatures, Pillivuyt porcelain develops a dense, nonporous surface that combines the refinement of fine French craftsmanship with the demands of everyday use.
