Classic Porcelain Butter Blocks by Pillivuyt — Set of 6

Six petite white butter blocks give each place setting a thoughtful way to present an individual portion of butter or preserves. Their precise scale is charming beside toast, warm bread, and breakfast china.

“I like presenting butter individually when there is fresh bread on the table. Six small dishes make the morning meal feel particularly generous.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Established in France in 1818, Pillivuyt has been producing porcelain at its Mehun-sur-Yèvre manufacture since 1854. More than two centuries of accumulated knowledge inform its precise forms, remarkably smooth glaze, and enduring approach to functional tableware.

Fired at high temperatures, Pillivuyt porcelain develops a dense, nonporous surface that combines the refinement of fine French craftsmanship with the demands of everyday use.
